Unicorns Don't Squawk

In this episode we discuss round 9 of the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season. We saw some key players return to the court after several weeks of injury in the NSW Swifts and Sunshine Coast Lightning game, where the Lightning took the win with a narrow 2 goal victory. In Adelaide, we saw West Coast Fever have another big loss and this time to the Adelaide Thunderbirds, while the GWS Giants make it clear they are not going down this season without a fight, winning to the Queensland Firebirds by 4 goals. Finally, the second Melbourne Derby saw the Melbourne Vixens taking top spot on the ladder with an almost 20-goal victory against the Melbourne Mavericks. In news this week, we debrief on the Diamonds Squad announcement, Chelsea Pittman’s retirement and all that drama surrounding Sam Wallace Joseph and the Swifts.
