In this episode, we discuss Round 3 of the Suncorp Super Netball. In our first game of the round, we had a storm on our hands with Thunderbirds and Sunshine Coast Lightning going into extra time. West Coast Fever continues to turn the heat up as they have their closest game against the Melbourne Mavericks. In our State of Origin match, we saw another game go into extra time and the NWS Swifts reminded us all that you can never write them off. Lastly, we see the GWS Giants shrink against the Melbourne Vixens with our biggest margin of the round. We have a discussion around expansion plans with the trial of the Suncorp Super Netball Reserves games and spill the tea on the rumours that New Zealand may be looking to join the Suncorp Super Netball.

On this week’s episode we deep dive into Round Two of the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season. We find ourselves questioning where is the big, big sound from the West of the town in NSW? We discuss the clutch moments of Melbourne Vixens v Adelaide Thunderbirds. The fact that (Sunshine Coast) Lightning doesn’t strike twice as we definitely felt Fever-ish and the NSW Swifts earning their first win of the season. We celebrate the positive step towards inclusivity with the announcement of the inaugural First Nations team and review the new dangerous play rules.

On today’s episode, Suncorp Super Netball is back baby and boy, Round 1 did not disappoint. Both Sunshine Coast Lightning and West Coast Fever make big statements in their opening games against the NSW Swifts and GWS Giants. Melbourne Vixens showed their new Melbourne rivals, the Melbourne Mavericks, how it’s done and the Adelaide Thunderbirds are making us yell at the TV for reasons good and bad.
